New Goats and a horse.

We have been boarding a horse for a little while. Her name is Honey and she is a very good girl. All of a sudden she has decided that I am not that bad. Up until Saturday every time I go in to play with her she has ignored me. On Saturday I walked out to talk to Matt as he was building the new goat pen she followed me and is now my buddy.

We got the new goats yesterday and they are so fun. Honey would love to play with them (and eat their food)  Honey now follows me. I secretly love it :)

Our new goats are named, Mama, Daisy and Annabelle. We hope to add another baby to the mix someday. They are just so cute. They are very vocal and the baby loves to play.

I really stink at this...

You know, it is a really good thing I don't have followers. Haha it has been years since I have really thought about updating this blog. (journal)

Since the last time I shared anything so much has happened.

Bryan returned from his mission and married a very sweet young lady.

Mason married his beautiful long time girlfriend.

Myranda graduated high school

Braxton is finishing his junior year of high school and is advancing very quickly in the JROTC program.

Lauren is finishing her freshmen year of high school and her guard received a bronze medal for Winter guard this year.

Lexie is finishing 6th grade.. Wow. only 2 weeks left for elementary school.

This last Sunday was Mothers day. While at church the primary children sang a medley for moms. We realized that this is the last time one of my children will sing in that tradition. For the last 21 years I was able to watch my child sing. It is such a bitter sweet moment. I love the young people that they are becoming. I just kinda of wish I could press a pause button and keep them for just a little longer.

Wow... I didn't forget about this blog... or did I?

I always think I need to post this, or that. I have been using Facebook a lot. However that doesn't really help with the journal aspect of a blog. I started a mission blog for Bryan who is serving in Mexico City. I stopped updating it because I had seen bad people take missionary photos off of blogs and make them look really bad. I just want to keep his experiences safe. Bryan will return in August. Life has changed a bit since the last time I updated this blog. The kids are just growing so fast. I will add more later and some photos.

Steel Drums

For the past two years Braxton has had the opportunity to be in an after school club leaning how to play the steel drums. On Tuesday we went to his concert at Basha high school. I really enjoy listening to them play its a feel good concert.

Myranda's 8th Grade Formal

I can not believe that Myranda will be in high school next year. She is growing into such a nice young lady. May 18th was her schools formal dance. Myranda picked a beautiful dress that she looked so lovely in.

Petting Zoo/Carnival Birthday Party.

On May 19th we had Lexie's birthday party. It was a lot of fun. I rented some games and bought little prized for the party favors. Grandma Tanquary brought her cotton candy machine and made all of the kiddos some cotton candy. For the first hour of the party they kids played games and ate candy, then Carters Farm came and set up the petting zoo and pony rides. They had 2 baby pigs. They were so cute. I want a baby pig now. Myranda was able to sit and feed a bottle to them. Bryan and his friend Emily helped with the games and Mason helped with the zoo. Mason was the pooper scooper. He was a good sport and did a great job. All of the kids got a few turns on the pony. I even took a turn. Yes I want a horse now too. Lexie has sweet friends and she had a great day :)

Lauren Wax Museum

Lauren had a report for school that she had worked on since they returned from spring break. She was assigned to learn about Gabby Giffords. She had to make a backdrop, and dress like her. On Friday afternoon all of the fourth graders put on the wax museum. Other grades and parents came and the kids would give their speech many times. Lauren did a great job and got an A. She received a 98 she got points off for her backdrop. I thought it was great.
